Up to the age of twenty, Ha Tran led a privileged life in Viet Nam, until the Communist regime took power. Her world was never the same again. Her father's great love for her and his imperative to Ha to "Live your life until you take your last breath" were the driving force behind her story of intrigue, struggle, survival, and finally, triumph, as one of the Vietnamese "Boat People" who found their way to the United States in search of freedom and a better life.
Through the challenges of an arranged marriage, the responsibility of raising four children in a new country, to the determination and ultimate success of learning the language, earning a college degree, and skillfully guiding other companies to financial success, Ha has many lessons to share. Ha's ultimate goal is to share her father's philosophy with the world, inspiring and motivating others to their own successes. This philosophy is not new or revolutionary. But it is powerful. Transformed from isolated immigrant to accomplished business woman, Ha is now a successful coach and mentor and a gifted speaker who inspires others through her life story and the lessons she learned from her father,,, living with a promise in her heart.
"I had the pleasure of attending a book talk and program by Ha Tran, (Empowered by Hope). The audience and myself were greatly moved by her story and her excellent presentation. Ms. Tran easily moved from the emotional to the humorous and engaged the listeners throughout the evening. I highly recommend Ha Tran as an inspirational speaker for all ages. Her account of escaping Viet Nam as a young woman would be especially appropriate for a high school history program." ~ Dorothy Sieradzki, Library Director - Manchester-By-The-Sea Public Library.
Hope: "Of all the forces that make for a better world, none is so powerful as hope, with hope, one can think, one can work, one can dream. If you have hope, you have everything." ~ Unknown
Ha's ultimate goal is to share her father's philosophy with the world, inspiring and motivating others to their own successes. Using her experiences in her personal and professional life, she encourages, supports, motivates, inspires, and empowers others to have hope and bring out their best in themselves and their lives. She does this through her work as a coach and mentor, as an inspirational speaker and seminar leader.
"A pessimist sees the difficulty in every opportunity; an optimist sees the opportunity in every difficulty." ~ Winston Churchill
